Shermco Industries, an independent electrical testing and maintenance company in North America, has opened registration for the Shermco Industries Motors and Switchgear Conference to be held near Houston in League City, Texas.
The conference centers on the proper, safe and efficient maintenance of electrical power systems and rotating machinery critical to all industrial and utility facilities. The SIMS conference is a one-day event highlighting critical aspects of electrical maintenance and safety from arc flash to disaster recovery and much more. Primarily focused on predictive testing and planning, the conference will also cover developing and administering an effective electrical system maintenance program. There will be multiple tracks covering both technical and safety related topics.
The keynote address will be given by Dr. Mladen Kezunovic who is the Eugene E. Webb-endowed Professor at Texas A&M University for electrical engineering. The address will focus on the role of ‘big data’ in managing and controlling future power systems.
The SIMS Conference will be held in League City, Texas on Sept. 25th at the South Shore Harbour Resort for $149 with CEU credits issued or $119 without.
