WINDPOWER 2018 attendees can talk with Siemens Garmesa experts at the company’s 2,000-square-foot booth (#2127).

Siemens Gamesa offers a broad product and service portfolio to address the diverse needs of the U.S. market, providing its customers with the best solutions to lower the cost of energy and maximize the profitability of their projects. Furthermore, as a multi-brand service provider with advanced digital services and modular, flexible service offerings, Siemens Gamesa continues to provide solutions by delivering maximum performance and optimal energy output.

“AWEA WINDPOWER is one of our most important tradeshows this year,” says José Antonio Miranda, Siemens Gamesa Renewable Energy, CEO Onshore Americas. “As one of the industry leaders, we look to strengthen our position in the U.S. through our products and solutions. Building on our extensive experience both onshore and offshore, this event provides the ideal platform to show how we are continuing to lower the cost of energy while increasing efficiency across the entire value chain.”

The company’s leadership and experts will be highlighted throughout the event with a comprehensive agenda addressing various industry topics. On the first day of the show during the Opening General Session, Mark Albenze, CEO, Service, will present how Siemens Gamesa is using actionable data insights to unlock wind’s true potential. Following on the same day, José Antonio Miranda will address the needs and trends of the U.S. as a panelist of the Large Turbine Manufacturer Forum, and discuss the company’s latest products including the SG 2.7-129 wind turbine and a low-wind machine featuring a new, larger rotor.

To conclude the conference, Andreas Nauen, CEO, Offshore, will speak about why offshore wind in the U.S. is important to the future of the industry. As leaders in the offshore industry, Andreas will touch upon Siemens Gamesa’s expertise, best practices and how the U.S. can play a pivotal role in securing economic development and intellectual ownership of the industry. Furthermore, the company will be represented by an additional five speakers covering topics such as digitalization, repowering and U.S. ports and supply chain for the anticipated offshore industry take-off.
