Sika announces personnel postings and promotions

Sika Corp. offers a range of solutions and products for the wind industry, including those related to turbine blades, nacelles, towers and foundations.

Sika, based in Madison Heights, MI, has announced new personnel and promotion appointments in several departments.

For the corporation’s Target Market Industry, Mr. Ryan Brimmer was appointed as Area Sales Manager, reporting to Bill Buraczewski Region Manager. Prior to joining Sika, Brimmer held the position of Regional Sales Manager for several RV manufacturers. Brimmer will be responsible for managing the Indiana territory with emphasis on the Elkhart area and RV Markets. He is currently working towards an Associates degree in Bible and Religion Business.

In addition, Mr. Brian Weissberg has been promoted to Senior Territory Manager, Aftermarket and Salesforce Liaison, while continuing to report to James O’Malley, Sales Manager East. Weissberg joined Sika in May 2002 as a Territory Manager in the New Jersey, New York and Connecticut markets. During his time with Sika, Weissberg played a key role in successfully integrating the Salesforce, Customer Relationship Management platform.

In his new role, Weissberg will continue managing his Aftermarket territories, while being a referral key user for Aftermarket Salesforce and Aftermarket e-commerce. He studied Business Management at SUNY Oneonta, Electrical Engineering at New York Institute of Technology and Accounting at the College of Staten Island.

Finally, Sika’s Region NA Automotive announced an appointment to the Research and Development Team, Ms. Kyla Ross. Appointed as a Project Chemist, Ross will be reporting to Leslie Wolschleger, Lab Manager. She will be responsible for finalizing material approval testing for SikaReinforcer products, along with improving existing chemistries in the SikaReinforcer product line.

Before joining Sika, while finishing her education, Ross worked as a Research Assistant studying the influence on endosulfan treated crops. Ross holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in General Biology from Kentucky State University, Frankfort, KY and a Master of Science Degree in Biochemistry from Wayne State University, Detroit, MI.
