Sika Corp intros Sikaflex-211 US adhesive and sealant in black

By Paul Dvorak | August 2, 2017

Sika Corporation, a supplier of innovative adhesive and sealant solutions is proud to announce that Sikaflex-211 US, a multi-purpose general sealant for transportation and industrial assembly applications, is now available in black 300 ml cartridges and 600-ml unipacs.

Sikaflex-211 US is a one-component non-sag, highly elastomeric, high performance, purpose built interior and exterior sealant that cures on exposure to atmospheric humidity to a tough, durable, flexible seal with good weatherability.  It is engineered specifically for sealing interior and exterior lap seams, exposed and concealed joints and rivet seams in transportation and industrial OEM and repair applications.

“Sikaflex-211 US offers excellent adhesion to a wide variety of substrates without surface treatments or primers, outstanding gunnability and tooling characteristics, exceptional cut and tear resistance with non-sag characteristics that will hold its shape in large vertical beads,” said Mark Daniels, Vice President, Industry Transportation and Appliance and Components.  “You will also find that Sikaflex-211 US has a short cut off string and is easier to clean than our standard polyurethane products. This presents a definite product advantage for operators on the assembly line.”

Sikaflex-211 US is also offered in 300-ml cartridges and 600-ml unipacs in gray and white.
