This unique event will offer education, networking and technical demos, plus a keynote presentation by NFL Hall-of-Famer, Michael Singletary.
Sika USA, provider of sealing, bonding, damping, reinforcing, and protecting solutions, is bringing its new ‘365’ Event Series to the Chicago area. The event is taking place on Thursday June 9, 2016 from 2:30 to 7p.m. at the Drury Lane Theatre in Oakbrook Terrace, Illinois.
Chicagoland 365 will focus on the many emerging trends that shape the future of design, manufacturing, and maintenance through choices we make every day with sealants, adhesives, noise vibration reduction, and reinforcing technologies.
It will feature Sika’s latest innovative, versatile technologies for high-strength bonding, elastic sealing and bonding, lamination, acoustic damping and structural reinforcement for the transportation, marine, renewable energy, industrial assembly, and more.
Cut-away vehicles and other “actual use” displays will present real-life examples of these applications, and hands-on demonstrations will be led by technical experts for true “see for yourself” experiences. Sales representatives from Sika’s Industry group target markets will also be on hand to discuss customer’s challenges and requirements for flexible manufacturing, innovative design, and building stronger, safer, more efficient products.
Additionally, there will be two special guest speakers: NFL Hall-of-Famer Michael Singletary will keynote, and Cliff Brewis, VP of Editorial Operations, Dodge Data and Analytics, will discuss construction trends and the economy in the Chicagoland area. The event will conclude with a cocktail reception where attendees can share insights and ideas, and network with their peers.
“Our Chicagoland 365 event will be a unique experience for ourMidwest region customers,” said Dan Hilliard, Executive Vice President of Industry for Sika. “The Midwest market is home to many key customers and market segments that we serve, so we wanted to provide a day for them to come meet our sales and technical teams in person, see our new technologies up close, and participate in hands-on demonstrations. As well, it’s a great networking opportunity for our customers to connect with one another over shared synergies.”
Participants will have the opportunity to take part in hands on demonstrations at the Sika At Work display, as well as earn multiple AIA and RCI continuing education credits through programs offered at this event.
