Simple and smart FAA lighting

By Paul Dvorak | October 15, 2009

Light l360g20LEDThe L350-864G is a “one piece solution” and the result of thousands of installations worldwide in the wind energy market. TWR Lighting Inc., Houston, Texas (twrlighting.com) says it is the exclusive FAA-lighting supplier to several turbine manufacturers, developers, owners, and operators. The 33-lb warning light is the best in class, first in reliability, easiest to install and provides the lowest cost of ownership. The company says its portfolio for wind energy includes over 100 projects in North America. Some highlights of the L350-864G Red LED Beacon are that it has a one piece mount and the company is a single source design and manufacturer. Several internal features include a flash circuit, photocell, and GPS synchronization circuitry. It comes with a monitoring and alarm contact.
