Sweden is well on its way to meeting its 2030 renewable energy targets by the end of 2018. And it’s partially because of the number of power purchase agreements or PPAs the country has secured.
In the first half of 2018, Norway and Sweden saw corporate wind PPAs signed totaling almost 1.4GW – a figure equal to the all the corporate PPAs signed in Europe in the whole of 2017.
So how come Scandinavia is seeing more than other countries in Europe? And can its success be replicated?
A new report from A Word About Wind, “Europe’s PPA Revolution,” takes an in-depth look at these questions. It also includes information relating to project finance, project and corporate M&A deals, and delves into the growth of wind-powered data centers.
