A French manufacturer of wind turbines is setting its eyes on Texas. Alstom Wind and the National Institute for Renewable Energy (NIRE) have begun testing on the company’s first turbine certified in North America. The company plans to construct a wind turbine assembly facility in Amarillo, Texas.
