The LION Gun offers precision bolting system with built-in data recording

By Michelle Froese | July 27, 2018

The Lion Gun

Through the use of aerospace-grade alloys, the LION Gun packs power without added weight. The 18-Volt lithium-ion battery provides long-lasting operation with a quick recharge time to keep the job going. Learn more about the LION Gun in this video.

HYTORC aims to make industrial bolting safer and simpler. To this end, the company recently introduced the LION Gun, which it describes as the world’s first affordable precision bolting system with built-in data recording.

Simply set the desired torque output on the LION Gun’s display and pull the trigger to get precise, repeatable torque without excessive noise or vibration.

The LION Gun’s industrial-strength gearbox is driven by a brushless motor connected to a non-impacting gearbox to deliver torque faster, smoother, and more reliably than manual clicker wrenches, impact wrenches and other tightening tools.

What’s more is built-in data recording capability lets a user maintain a log of all completed bolting jobs. For improved quality control and accountability, the information can be saved to a PC or tablet to provide a permanent record of the work performed. A wheel gun accessory is is ideal for wheel bolting in confined spaces. The extension system delivers the desired torque without compromise to power or durability.

For a limited time, HYTORC is also offering up to 30% off purchases with a qualifying trade-in. Learn more about the tool trade-in program here.
