TPI Composites Inc., the largest U.S.-based independent manufacturer of composite wind blades, says it has entered into an additional, long-term agreement with Nordex to supply wind blades from two lines at its newly-constructed manufacturing facility in Izmir, Turkey. TPI has been building wind blades for Nordex in Turkey since 2013 under its original long-term supply agreement with Nordex.
TPI Composites is the largest U.S.-based independent manufacturer of composite wind blades for the wind energy market. TPI is headquartered in Scottsdale, Arizona and operates factories throughout the U.S., Mexico, China and Turkey.
