Webinar: Field Verification of VG AEP Increase

By Lisa Rosen | April 3, 2018

This webinar was presented live on Wednesday, May 2, 2018. Click below to watch on demand.

EDF Renewable Services has joined forces with 3M and SMART BLADE to analyze the effectiveness of 3M™ Wind Vortex Generators (VGs) during a six month pilot on the Bobcat Bluff Wind Project. This case study webinar will explore the analysis and confirmation of Annual Energy Production (AEP) increases gained by installing VGs. VGs provide owners with an upgrade opportunity to increase AEP 1-3% and provide payback in 1-2 years.

By attending this webinar, you will understand:

  • How vortex generators can improve AEP 1.5-3 percent
  • How owners can verify AEP increases
  • Why owners install vortex generators to increase AEP
