TÜV Rheinland will showcase its full-service portfolio for wind energy at the 2013 EWEA trade fair in Frankfurt/Main from November 19 to 21. The full range of wind energy services comprises project certification in accordance with the BSH standard, type and component certification as well as manufacturing surveillance and quality assurance for manufacturers. In addition to certification, specialized services such as wind coating inspection will also be presented to visitors. With TÜV Rheinland’s marine warranty survey services, our surveyors monitor the safe transportation and supervise the proper installation of offshore wind turbines. The company also offers operators periodic inspection services and specific testing services using advanced non-destructive testing methods. Site assessment and yield assessment further help in planning investments.

“Worldwide supply chains and complex legal and technical requirements take up a great part of daily business”, says Frank Witte, the firm’s Global Business Development Manager.

TÜV Rheinland says it offers a comprehensive range of services for manufacturers, operators, investors and insurance companies in the wind energy industry. The company supports clients worldwide by conducting assessment and performance testing services and risk and damage analysis along with certification of wind turbines and wind energy projects. The company has been accredited by the German Accreditation Body (DAkkS) as a Certification Body for type and component certification of onshore and offshore wind turbines in accordance with national and international standards.
