By Michelle Froese | January 15, 2019

The American Council on Renewable Energy (ACORE), a national business group made up of companies that finance, develop, manufacture and use all forms of renewable energy, has announced its new board members for 2019.

Executives from Lincoln Clean Energy, E.ON North America, Pattern Energy Group and Starwood Energy Group Join Board to Accelerate the U.S. Transition to Renewable Power

Executives from Lincoln Clean Energy, E.ON North America, Pattern Energy Group and Starwood Energy join ACORE’s board to accelerate the U.S. transition to renewable energy.

ACORE welcomes four new board members: Declan Flanagan, CEO at Lincoln Clean Energy; Kevin Gresham, Vice President Government Relations and External Affairs at E.ON North America; George Hardie, Vice President and Director of Business Development at Pattern Energy Group and Himanshu Saxena, CEO of Starwood Energy Group.

“The ACORE board benefits from a diverse team of experienced executives from the renewable power industry, and we are fortunate to welcome our new members to build on the foundation established by their predecessors,” said ACORE Board Chairman David Giordano, Managing Director at BlackRock. “We are at a critical inflection point for our industry, and the wealth of leadership the ACORE board brings will be essential to helping drive growth in sustainable infrastructure investment. We truly appreciate the service and contributions of our past, present and new board members.”

“We are very fortunate to have such a widely-respected group of renewable sector leaders join the engaged group of senior executives already serving on our board,” added ACORE President and CEO Gregory Wetstone. “They will be tremendous assets to the organization as we work to further our mission uniting finance, policy and technology to accelerate the transition to renewable energy.”
