By Nic Sharpley | January 22, 2013

Global smart adhesive solutions manufacturer, SCIGRIP, will be exhibiting at Compotec 2013 in Carrara Fiere, Italy from February 6-8. The exhibition, held simultaneously with marine technology and design show Seatec, will see SCIGRIP showcasing the latest advancements in bonding systems and adhesive chemistries.

Now in full UK and US production, SCIGRIP’s SG230 product will be a key focus. Already an established and market leading adhesive in the US marine sector, it is part of SCIGRIP’s 10:1 Methacrylate range. Available in a variety of curing speeds, SG230 is ideally suited to marine, transportation, wind, and other renewable energy applications.

Key benefits of the SG230 range:
–       High build adhesive for large component assembly without slump or overheating
–        Very high toughness for impact, peel and fatigue strength
–        Dial-up speed control with unchanged final cold cured bond strengths to optimize productivity
–        Moisture tolerant application for wet weather work

Paul Nelson, SCIGRIP’s Business Development Director for Europe and Asia, will be available throughout the show in Hall D on Stand 845. Mastikol, SCIGRIP’s exclusive Italian distributor, will also have representatives on hand to discuss the above product offerings in more detail.
