Renewable energy consultants, AWS Truepower, have released the Wind Trends Bulletin for the first quarter of 2017. Quarterly wind performance maps for Q1 2017 show deviations in the wind resource from average Q1 conditions in every region of the world.
Knowing the performance of the wind can help wind developers understand the performance of their wind plant. AWS Truepower can help identify areas of improvement, reduce downtime, and maximize a wind plant’s energy production.
To reflect the recent acquisition of AWS Truepower by UL, AWS has changed the look of the Wind Trends Bulletin. The company has also added a link to download a longer list of countries in the 2017 Wind Index.
