With over 11,200 MW of installed wind-power capacity in Canada, and even more wind farms coming online in the coming years, responsible and sustainable operations of wind farms has emerged as a key topic among Canadian stakeholders.
To address important operations and maintenance topics, the Canadian Wind Energy Association (CanWEA) welcomes wind energy professionals and accredited media to connect at CanWEA’s O&M Summit on February 24 to 25, 2016 in Toronto, Ontario.
The CanWEA O&M Summit, which includes a tabletop Exhibit, is developed with O&M professionals to help Canadian wind operators make informed decisions when it comes to operating their wind assets in Canada. Topics discussed will include: market operations, NERC compliance, data analysis and use, cold-climate considerations, worker health and safety, and forging long-term relationships within host communities.
The Summit will bring together key industry players from the entire spectrum of the wind industry, providing an opportunity to learn, discuss, and better understand the operational issues unfolding in Canada’s maturing wind sector.
