Composites One wins Platinum Award at National Safety Awards

By Michelle Froese | June 15, 2018

Composites One LLC was recently presented the Platinum Award by Great West Casualty Company as part of the 2017 National Safety Awards Program. This is the 16th consecutive year that the company has been named an award recipient, and the 15th Platinum Award in as many years.

Special award

The National Safety Awards Program recognizes carriers with awards based on their year-end preventable accident results.

The National Safety Awards Program recognizes carriers in similar operations (truckload and less than truckload) with awards based on their year-end preventable accident results. Carriers are eligible to receive a Platinum, Gold, Silver, or Participatory Award. This past year, the program drew more than 800 participants from across the country.

“The Composites One organization is dedicated to safety each and every day and being recognized with the Great West Platinum Award again this year is an honor we accept with pride and humility,” said Leon Garoufalis, President and COO of Composites One. “Safety is a core value at Composites One and a constant focus at all our locations. Safe operations enable us to provide real value to our customers through quality service, consistency and dependability. All our team members find it gratifying to see our outstanding safety record recognized by a company like Great West.”
