HYDAC Technology Corporation officially announced that it has completed construction of a new, 25,000-square-foot manufacturing plant in Katy, Texas. The plant will manufacture and assemble the company’s line of bladder accumulators, accessories, electronics, and filtration products primarily for applications in the energy sector.
The new plant is expected to employ 20 people, and will eventually grow to more than 50 employees.
“We are thrilled to be able to continue our presence in the Katy area,” said Jeffrey Mordas, Regional Vice President for the South Central Region, who will be based out of the new facility. “It is here we can best serve our customer base, and our new facility will allow us to both grow and expand our capabilities.”
There was an Open House at the new facility in April of this year, which included a ribbon-cutting ceremony, attended by the local mayor and a city council member.
“HYDAC has long been a leader in the hydraulics industry and expansion and growth is an integral part of our continuous improvement plan to meet and exceed our customers’ expectations,” said Matthias Müller, President of HYDAC. “This new plant is no exception and we will maintain our long tradition of sustained excellence and growth in our industry.”
HYDAC has been active in the field of hydraulics and filtration for more than 50 years, with more than 9,000 employees and 50 overseas subsidiaries.
