Wind-farm modeling software aims to simulate the energy production of a proposed or existing wind farm. Through reliable reports, Meteodyn helps developers assess wind resource to design more profitable wind farms.

Meteodyn, a global provider of wind resource assessments, wind-farm design, and wind-power forecasting, will take part to the world’s largest wind energy event in Hamburg, Germany. WindEnergy Hamburg is on September 27 to 30, and organizers have accepted four papers from Meteodyn:

  • Modeling wind flow in forested area: a parametric study
  • Post-conversion of Lidar data on complex terrains
  • SWIP project: New innovative solutions, components, and tools for the integration of wind energy in urban and peri-urban areas
  • Investigation and validation of wake model combinations for large wind-farm modeling in neutral boundary layers

Meteodyn will explain the full range of services the company offers and provide software demos at their event booth on the booth (A1 105), including:

  • meteodyn WT: wind resource and production assessment, and wind-farm design and optimization
  • meteodyn Forecast: wind production forecast for the coming days, hours, and minutes
  • Tailor-made solutions: custom studies and IT systems development

Meteodyn’s priority is to be customer responsive and innovative in meeting clients and market needs. The company has created a department specialized in research, science, and development, and relies on a strong team of PhD and engineers in meteorology, statistics, wind energy, forecast systems, and IT engineering.
