Mixhead allows rebuilding it onsite

By KRemington | June 7, 2010

The Graco EP Pour Gun, is for open pour applications and closed-mold injection. The applicator features an updated mix head that lets users rebuild the mixing head on site instead of sending it back to the manufacturer. Manufacturers won’t have a second mixhead in reserve, which will lower capital outlay and rebuild costs. The pour gun processes rigid and flexible polyurethanes, and filled materials. Flow rates span 1 to 50 lb/min (0.45 to 22.7 kg/min) and wide fluid-ratio capabilities of 1:1 to greater than 5:1. Reliable performance comes from a lubricated purge rod that reduces material sticking, and the mechanically self-cleaning design eliminates costly solvent flushing.
