Shaft alignment tool

By KRemington | July 6, 2010

Shaftalign is a high precision, easy-to-use shaft alignment tool with human error-proof functions. Its TFT backlit color display combines operating simplicity with precise measurements and state-of-the-art technology. Intuitive auto-workflow capability (Dimension, Measure, Results) guides users to the needed alignment condition. An “Active Clock” measurement collects the laser coordinates for the corresponding shaft position. Only three readings over a rotation angle of less than 70º are required for a precision alignment. All relevant alignment results are displayed on one screen including the alignment-status through indicators and LEDs. A built-in light sensor optimizes screen image quality and manages power. Shaftalign is upgradable with additional features as alignment requirements change. A variety of options generate and archive alignment reports through its software or through the direct reports as PDF to a memory stick.
