Bachmann Electronics supplies about ½ of the controllers to the wind industry and has been the leader for over a decade. Bachmann has been installed on approximately 60,000 wind turbines globally. Now after 40 years in business, Bachmann has announced their condition monitoring division, Bachmann Monitoring.
Bachmann Monitoring currently monitors condition monitoring on approximately 1,800 turbines (up to 5 MW off-shore units) from the GL certified monitoring center where they employ 10 vibration analysts. This condition monitoring center monitors an impressive variety of turbines. The monitoring center has been in operation for a decade and has experience with over a dozen wind turbine manufacturers.
In addition to condition monitoring and remote monitoring, Bachmann Monitoring also has end of warranty inspection devices for commissioning, post service and of course end of warranty inspection. Bachmann condition monitoring system (CMS) is GL certified.
