The Switch selects David Ho as new board of directors member

The Switch, a supplier of megawatt-class permanent magnet generator and full-power converter packages for wind power and other renewable energy applications, announces the addition of David Ho to the Board of Directors.David Ho

The addition of Ho helps The Switch demonstrate its deep commitment to its customer base in China. Ho possesses an impressive professional history, which has been built largely through his executive level service in the technology, media and telecommunications (TMT) industry in Greater China. This includes working as President of Nokia in Greater China, Chairman of Nokia Siemens Network in Greater China, and followed by being a senior advisor for Permira, a European private equity firm with a global reach. He has also served on various company boards throughout the years and has gained experience as the founder and chairman of a private investment group. Ho’s experience and knowledge will help facilitate The Switch’s growth in China, its main market.

Ho brings with him several more factors, which will be crucial to The Switch’s success in China. He has an extensive network consisting of professional and governmental contacts. This is in addition to his experience as a consultant for multinational companies, which are looking to succeed in the Greater China market.
