
Frank Costanza has been named executive vice president of legislative and regulatory affairs for TradeWind Energy.
TradeWind Energy, Inc, which specializes in developing wind and solar energy projects across the U.S., is pleased to announce the new responsibilities of a senior team member and the addition of a new executive to its leadership team.
Frank Costanza, who has 30 years of domestic and international utility and power project experience, has been named executive vice president legislative and regulatory affairs. His broad experience includes expertise in mergers, acquisitions, finance, strategic planning and operations, utility rate making, and the construction of more than 4,500 megawatts of conventional and renewable energy projects domestically and abroad.
Sanjay Bhasin joins TradeWind’s leadership team as senior vice president business development and delivers 20 years of experience in marketing, contract negotiations, underwriting, strategic planning, finance and tax equity investments.
“Both Frank and Sanjay are critical to our strategic growth plans,” said Rob Freeman, TradeWind’s chief executive officer. “Their unique expertise in a number of key areas will help us grow in new and exciting directions.”
Costanza joined TradeWind Energy in 2005 and has been integral to establishing the company’s market position as a leader in wind and solar energy project development. He has held a number of executive positions in the independent power, energy and utility industries. He earned a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Valparaiso University and an MBA from Western Illinois University.
Bhasin leads the origination and acquisition functions for TradeWind. Prior to joining TradeWind, Bhasin was an executive with a west coast company that developed and sold energy from independent power production facilities. He earned a bachelor’s degree in economics and statistics, and an MBA in finance from Northeastern University and is a chartered accountant.
