Renewable energy consultants, UL (formerly AWS Truepower) have released their Q1 Wind Trends Bulletin. Monthly wind performance maps for the first quarter of 2018 show deviations in the wind resource from average conditions for the month in every region of the world.
The monthly Wind Trends Bulletin is based on a custom combination of three re-analysis datasets: ERA-Interim, MERRA, and CFSR. The use of all three allows for rapid, reliable updates of global wind conditions.
