Vestas recently received three U.S.wind-turbine orders for two undisclosed customers.
The first order is for 454 MW of the company’s V120-2.2 MW turbines. This contract includes supply and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a 10-year service agreement that’s designed to ensure optimized performance for the lifetime of the project.
Turbine delivery will begin in the third quarter of 2019, with commissioning scheduled for the third quarter of 2020.
Additionally, contracts for 95 MW and 173 MW were signed with the same customer. Both projects are for V150-4.2 MW turbines, including previously purchased PTC components. The project have a total capacity of 102 MW and 198 MW, respectively.
These two orders also include supply and commissioning of the turbines, as well as a multi-year service agreement. Deliveries and commissioning for both projects are expected in the third and fourth quarter of 2020.
