Wave springs for quick connectors

By Kathie Zipp | June 17, 2010

A range of wave springs are available for applications requiring quick connectors. Flatwire springs and retaining rings are suitable for quick connectors or circular plug-in connectors with threaded and bayonet locking for military, aerospace, and industrial applications. Rotor Clip offers a choice of spring designs. Single-wave springs with overlapping ends, save axial space and prevent radial jamming. Nested springs have a higher load, but use the same radial space as single springs. Multi-turn springs do not cling to the bore and have greater deflection, though they take up half the space of coiled springs. All wave springs are manufactured from carbon steel and 17-7 stainless.
