“Do you have the right glove in your tool box?”asks Cestusline. The company says its gloves will give your hands a hand when climbing tall heights, and with ease. The company says it is getting good feedback from its newest glove, the Turbinator, designed especially for the wind turbine industry. Company President Elli Choi worked with wind energy advisors to create a first in the glove industry: a glove developed specifically for wind turbine operators.

It is ironic that in the wind energy sector, wind can be a hazard for the people who work around the turbines.  The Turbinator is a windproof glove with design registered Hexagonal Memory Gel pods that help absorb vibrations along with a tacky silicone surface to help climb tall wind-turbine towers. “The Turbinator has met all our needs as a turbine technician – from climbing and comfort, to warmth,” said one turbine technician.

The Turbinator includes Neoprene Polychloroprene material for temperature control in the hand as well as wind and sun resistance. The palm also has RIMA ventilation creating breathability while preventing bacterial growth. Turbinator also comes in a Winter version as well.
