Hydraulic scissor-lift table easily positions heavy objects

By Paul Dvorak | October 27, 2011

The electric-hydraulic scissor lift table, with a 10,000 lb capacity, improves ergonomic conditions in a environment that requires heavy duty equipment for completing tough tasks.

An electric-hydraulic scissor lift table, with a 10,000 lb capacity, improves ergonomic conditions in a environment that requires heavy duty equipment for completing tough tasks. The lift positions oil pipes in a welding cell. This scissor lift table has a lowered height of 16 in. with 30-in. travel, a 48 x 96-in. platform, and high-strength, thick, tubular steel scissors. The simple push button up and down-control pedestal contains an external power unit, giving the lift table (despite large, heavy duty cylinders) a low closed height. A check valve within the high-pressure gear pump head lets the operator stop and hold the lift system at any position during normal operation. The motor is 230VAC, 3HP, 60 Hz, 3 phase, NEMA-4 rating. A unidirectional flow control is included as a secondary safety measure in case a hydraulic line is accidentally cut.
