Klüber Lubrication offers a range of synthetic, high-performance gear oil and heavy-duty grease for wind turbine components.

Klüber Lubrication, a worldwide manufacturer of specialty lubricants, will showcase its synthetic, high-performance gear oil and heavy-duty grease for wind turbine components at WINDPOWER 2015. The annual conference and exhibition will be held May 18–21 at the Orange County Convention Center in Orlando, Florida. Representatives from Klüber Lubrication will be available to discuss the company’s products, services, and expertise for the wind power industry (Booth #4622).

Klübersynth GEM 4 N oil provides outstanding protection against wear with resistance to micro-pitting, foaming, and residue formation. Compared to standard formulations, the gear oil shows good thermal stability, high load-carrying capacity, and low-friction values that improve the reliability of major components. The modern formulation holds viscosity thus supporting sufficient lubricating films across a wide range of temperatures. Klübersynth GEM 4 N is proven to perform well in the field and benchmarked against the highest standards in the industry.

Klübersynth AG 14-61 is an adhesive, white lubricant for open gears. The synthetic base ensures ample coverage and easy application at low temperatures. Klübersynth AG 14-61 is designed for girth gear/pinion drives and yaw plain bearings in wind turbines. The added value of this lubricant is “pumpability” at temperatures as low as minus 30°C. Desirable characteristics of this grease include great resistance to pressure and wear under vibration plus high corrosion protection when exposed to moisture. Klübersynth AG 14-61 is free from black solid lubricants which reduces consumption and improves cleanliness around the application.
