Engines, accessories, spare parts and other metal equipment on a wind farm or wind project are susceptible to rust and corrosion even when well-protected. Shrink wrap supplier Dr. Shrink’s new Multimetal ICT Film provides cost effective and versatile defense against corrosion damage on ferrous and non-ferrous metals in typical shipping and storage conditions.

The Multimetal ICT Film is an easy-to-use protective covering  containing corrosion inhibitor.

The film is intended to be installed as a base layer underneath Dr. Shrink’s premium shrink wrap. This combination ensures a durable, weatherproof storage and transportation cover, providing corrosion prevention. If properly packaged and stored, this non-toxic, recyclable ICT film can protect metals for up to five years.

All of Dr. Shrink’s products are excellent. We recently completed a job for Modular Wind Energy shrink wrapping their (3) 150′ wind turbine blades using film from Dr. Shrink.

I like this new Multimetal ICT Film that can wrap any metals. This kind of film is very useful to have when you want to cover metals and I am pretty sure that it is all very sealed. Great product! ShrinkWrap-Unlimited.com
