Parker Hannifin to showcase product line at WINDPOWER 2018

By Amy Stankiewicz | May 1, 2018

Parker Hannifin, a provider of filtration and condition monitoring to custom hydraulic power units and advanced accumulators and cooling solutions, invites WINDPOWER 2018 attendees to visit the company’s booth #4244 during the show.

The company will also be holding a customer reception at from 4 to 6 p.m. on May 8. Cocktails and light refreshments will be provided.

Some of the technologies that Parker will be highlighting at the show include:

Custom hydraulic power units for wind turbines
Parker’s custom hydraulic power units are engineered for wind yaw and brake applications for wind turbines of any size. The company can assist with fabricating, equipment design, prototyping, system modeling, and integration of electronic and hydraulic systems.

Condition monitoring and diagnostics, specifically remote diagnostics and condition monitoring for critical wind systems
Parker SensoNODE Gold is a series of networked wireless sensors developed for continuous condition monitoring for use with cloud or local applications. Combined with SCOUT software, SCOUT Mobile, and SCOUT Cloud, users can access information, alerts, and analytics to help keep systems operating efficiently.

Bladder accumulator
Parker developed a special coating on its new bladder accumulator shell, resulting in extended product life when used in the hub or nacelle. The coating ensures 100% coverage and reduces the friction between bladder and shell surface.

Piston accumulator
Parker piston accumulators offer customization and high durability with low gas permeation rates. Crimped to 6″ (150-mm) bore, available up to 22″ (559-mm) bore threaded and up to 20,000 psi (1,379 bar), these high-speed pistons perform in temperatures from -45°F to +320°F (-42°C to +160°C).
