Would you like to read of Formstrag in French or Delroyd in Dutch? We can do that, says Altra Motion.

Would you like to read of Formstrag in French or Delroyd in Dutch? We can do that, says Altra Motion. Select the prefered language at the top right.

Altra Industrial Motion says it has added new enhancements and content to its literature portal at www.altraliterature.com. Altra is a multinational designer, producer and marketer of a wide range of mechanical power transmission products sold in over 70 countries. International visitors can now view the site in various languages including Chinese, French, Dutch, Portuguese, Spanish, Russian, and of course, English.

An excellent resource for engineers and technical professionals, the portal contains links to literature available from all Altra brands including catalogs, brochures, line cards, application profiles, magazine articles and service manuals.

PDF files of any literature item can be easily downloaded for fast viewing. PDFs of many literature pieces are available for download in several languages including German. Hard copies of all literature can be ordered by using the integrated “Shopping Cart” application.

Users can search for literature by brand, product family, market, literature P-number or description. There are currently 21 industry-leading Altra brands including Ameridrives Couplings, Bauer Gear Motors, Warner Electric, Marland Clutch, Boston Gear, Warner Linear, Nuttall Gear, Bibby Turboflex and Wichita Clutch.

Product families include electromagnetic clutches and brakes, engineered belted drives, flexible couplings, geared motors, heavy-duty clutches and brakes, gearing, linear actuators, locking devices, universal joints and PT components.

Altra companies provide power transmission products for use in a wide variety of heavy industrial and high-volume manufacturing processes, where their reliability and accuracy are critical in both avoiding costly down time and enhancing the overall operational efficiency.

Markets served include mining, oil & gas, metals, food & beverage, packaging, wastewater, elevator, crane & hoist, forklift, aerospace & defense, farm & agriculture, renewable energy and mobile off-highway.
