Jacob Knickerbocker has been appointed as Business Development Manager to Spares in Motion in North America.

The North American wind turbine after warranty market is growing rapidly. As more and more wind turbines are getting out-of-warranty, the need for spare parts and the correct service provider to maintain these turbines is increasing. This growth is reflected in the number of North American buyers and suppliers using www.sparesinmotion.com to buy and sell wind turbine spare parts, repair capabilities, wind turbines and wind turbine services. To give support to buyers and suppliers from the USA and Canada, Spares in Motion has decided to open a local office in Texas.

Spares in Motion is the independent trading platform for the wind turbine industry. With over 16,000 users each month, Spares in Motion is connecting buyers and sellers for wind turbine spare parts, repairs, wind turbines and services. Spares in Motion has local representatives in The Netherlands, Spain, Germany and the United States to support local customers to expand their business globally. By creating transparency in the supply chain, Spares in Motion aims to provide an online tool to optimize the use of resources in the wind turbine market.
